Welcome!

For international visitors: I can issue an equivalent USHPA rating upon verification of your current IPPI card or your local clubs ratings card.

FOR ALL PILOTS: PLEASE CHECK IN WITH LOCAL CLUBS FOR WHEREVER YOU FLY. Due to the letigous nature of this country, clubs can have agreements in place with the land managers and owners, many of which are highly regulated and under a microscope, that reuire pilots to be members and sign waivers. It is easy to think no one will notice until you lose a site for an entire group of pilots so please, pay the $10 visitors fee, sign the waiver, read up on the basics, fly like you should and boom, you’re good. We have year round flying with Winter thermals that match some States Summer thermals. We head to Northern AZ in the summer. Due to our land ownership agreements all visiting pilots must join the Phoenix/Flagstaff group or the Tucson group with the links above and sign waivers. Then, download the app called “group me” and we can add you to the group chats so you can get dialed in on when and where we are going flying. If you do not have much thermal Desert and or high desert type flying skills yet and would like to take advantage of some specialized instruction to get you to your next level, I have years of experience doing just that right here in Arizona. We will head out to sites listed on the club page and or go to many not listed on our club page. ALSO, it may be best to schedule a tow session! If you want to learn to tow or already know and just want to get up and fly that’s a really great option. I have a new state of the art parawinch G8 as well as an airtime solutions winch along with all the experience and ratings for us to fly if and when the foot launch sites aren’t working. However much hiking you want or don’t want we can do while we have a great time getting you to your next level forecasting and flying this amazing State. If you’re an experienced XC pilot and just want to fly some great routes let me know and let’s plan one and get after it.
